A message from the Executive Director

Welcome to Oscars Season here at OFS!  You’ll see from this calendar that we have quite a few of the nominated films on tap.  We are also coming off a successful 9th year of Documentary Film Festival which happened in late January.  Thank you to everyone who attended, and keep your eyes out for information on our Environmental Film Festival coming up in April.

To celebrate the film world’s big night, I hope you will come join us for the Oscars party on Sunday, February 24th.  Admission includes snacks from Nineveh, a commemorative picture with a real Oscar statue, trivia, and much more.  The red carpet will be rolled out for your entrance— I hope you take the chance to get all done up and watch the awards in style!

Lastly, a reminder that we have a great online ticket and membership set-up which you can access at our website. Ticket purchases are easy and include a modest fee which helps us in part to maintain and preserve our great historic theater.  Also, renewing or joining as a member has never been easier.  Just go on the site to set up your membership or make a recurring gift to support your favorite nonprofit film and performance center.
