In the mass murder capital Santa Carla, the night is dominated by roving groups of bloodthirsty, black-clad teenagers. Sam (Corey Haim) and Michael (Jason Patric) have just moved to town and into trouble, as David (Kiefer Sutherland), the menacing leader of a super-cool vampire pack, decides they need to be eliminated. Enter the Frog brothers: comic book aficionados and self-appointed vampire hunters extraordinaire. What follows is a blood-soaked battle between the living and undead that’s both funny and scary and exploding with totally awesome ‘80s flash and style.
