NOPE

October 21 – November 3, 2022
NOPE

$11 General Admission & $8 OFS members
Two siblings who run a California horse ranch discover something wonderful and sinister in the skies above, and the owner of an adjacent theme park tries to profit from the mysterious, otherworldly phenomenon.
Dir: Jordan Peele / 2022 / US / 135 min

“Another game-changer from Jordan Peele, who pushes the limits of fun, fright and movie love to take horror to the next level. What do UFOs have to do with the violence eating at America? Say yes to Nope—it’ll mess with your head and pin you to your seat.” – Peter Travers, ABC News

“Nope has only solidified my anticipation for anything and everything Peele does next.” – Aisha Harris, NPR

“Jordan Peele’s masterfully audacious, wickedly funny and utterly outlandish sci-fi horror fable Nope is a classic example of a bold and original film that pays homage to a seemingly endless stream of great movies and yet is more than the sum of its parts.” – Richard Roeper, Chicago Sun-Times

SCREENING: FRI 10/21 7PM; FRI 10/28 4PM; SUN 10/30 7PM; THU 11/3 7PM

CURRENT COVID PROTOCOLS

Our top priority continues to be the safety of our audiences, artists, volunteers, staff, and the community. Beginning July 1, 2022, OFS will no longer require proof of vaccination. OFS strongly encourages and recommends when attending a performance at the Capitol Theater that all audience members wear a mask over their nose and mouth except when eating or drinking. Due to the continuing COVID-19 threat, it is critical to continue protecting and supporting those individuals who are immunocompromised or medically vulnerable, or who remain concerned for their own health or the health of their family or community. OFS encourages people to be kind and compassionate to individuals, students and businesses that choose to continue wearing face masks.

OFS management continually assesses the changing guidelines, artist contracts, and local government updates. We reserve the right to require health and safety protocols for all performances.  We will proactively communicate any change in health protocols with advance notice.

If you feel sick, have any of the following symptoms, or have tested positive for COVID-19, we request that you do not attend any performances:

Cough
Sore throat
Shortness of breath
Trouble breathing
Fever or chills
Loss of smell or taste

For more information, please see our operations announcement.
