Susan Morrow (Amy Adams) is an art gallery owner who is just realizing the bleakness of her materialistic life. Haunted by the memories of her turbulent life before with her first husband Tony (Jake Gyllenhaal), she is shocked to find a manuscript composed by him on her doorstep one day. As Susan begins to read the screenplay the tense and shocking story plays out before us, submersing us in her mind as she begins to blur fact with fiction, and memory with delusion. The sophomore effort from director Tom Ford (A Single Man), Nocturnal Animals is a stylish, multi-layered drama that is both thrilling and deep.
