Jeremy excels at mixing nontraditional mediums, working on unconventional canvasses, and telling deep stories in simple straightforward ways while breaking all the ‘art’ rules. His works are Pop Art, almost to a T. However, unlike traditional Pop, Kranz has embraced the “painterly looseness” of abstract expressionism while maintaining the impersonal, mundane reality, irony, and parody that defuses the personal symbolism of classic Pop Art. He works sloppily and recklessly, most times without a plan, letting each work happen spontaneously. Jeremy is a local resident and he will be celebrating his first showing ever!
