THE END OF THE TOUR

The L.A. Times called the late David Foster Wallace “one of the most influential and innovative writers of the last 20 years.” His talent was especially evident in his novel Infinite Jest, a tale of existential crisis set in a dryly-humorous future world. The End of the Tour is a cinematic account of a never published interview Wallace gave Rolling Stone following the publication of his 1996 novel. Jason Segel plays the notoriously press shy Wallace as a smart, savvy wit, unsure and weary of the origin of his immense talent. Jesse Eisenberg plays the reporter who spars and commiserates with Wallace, in this captivating, prolonged conversation that’s just as exhilarating as any big, summer action film.
