The Olympia Film Society is bringing some old-fashioned Hollywood glitz and glamour to the Capitol Theater as we celebrate the 90th Academy Awards LIVE on the big screen! Dress to impress and take a stroll down the red carpet where our host may ask: Who designed your fabulous outfit? Who does your hair? Who has your vote for Best Actress? Have your picture taken with a REAL Oscar statue, awarded to Arthur Freed, winner of the 1952 Academy Awards Best Picture:  An American In Paris!

The fabulous and fun event will be hosted by musicians Bree McKenna (Tacocat, Who Is She?, Childbirth) and failed figure-skater turned pop-punk phenom Lisa Prank! The Seattle duo will bring their (almost) Emmy-nominated talk show, Witch Chat, to the Capitol Theater! This star-studded event will feature a live simulcast on the big screen, mouth-watering hors-d’oeuvres and a chance to win great prizes in the Trivia & Oscar Ballot Contest.
