In Order of Disappearance is a cool and calculating comedic thriller from Norway. Nils (Skellan Skarsgard) is a quiet snowplow driver who is mourning the loss of his son. While the authorities have written off the death, Nils harbors doubts, which are justified one night on his icy rounds. Determined to get revenge the introverted man becomes embroiled in a brutal turf war between rival drug gangs. Sly and armed with heavy machinery and a hunger for retribution, he works behind the scenes igniting suspicions and spurring bloody warfare. Justin Chang of the LA Times calls, In Order of Disappearance, “an absorbing and atmospheric thriller.”
