CANCELATION: THE THING: POST-FILM Q&A w/ KEITH DAVID

Cancelation

We hate and love to break this news to you.

Keith David’s management has informed OFS that Mr. David accepted an offer for a role in a new HBO Max series created by JJ Abrams (Lost) and LaToya Morgan (The Walking Dead) called Duster!

The show is set in the ’70s badlands of the Southwest, and Rachel Hilson stars as the lead detective. The series will feature car chases, killer storytelling, and Keith David as a supporting character – we are here for it! Congratulations, Mr. David! Check out this article on the streaming series.

Keith remains interested in coming to the Capitol Theater, and you will be the first to know when a reschedule happens.

In the meantime, the face value of each ticket purchased will be refunded. Allow 2-4 days for the funds to appear on your debit or credit card.

Thank you for understanding,

Team OFS

In remote Antarctica, a group of American research scientists are disturbed at their base camp by a helicopter shooting at a sled dog. When they take in the dog, it brutally attacks both human beings and canines in the camp and they discover that the beast can assume the shape of its victims. A resourceful helicopter pilot (Kurt Russell) and no-nonsense member of the team (Keith David) lead the camp crew in a desperate, gory battle against the vicious creature before it picks them all off, one by one.
Dir: John Carpenter / 1982 / US / 109 min

Patrons, performers, staff, and volunteers are no longer required to wear masks or show proof of vaccination. The threat of covid, seasonal flu, and respiratory viruses are still out there. OFS will continue to provide masks (while supplies last – we have tons), surface and hand sanitizer, and regular air filtration system maintenance. We encourage mask-wearing at concerts and indoor gatherings and keep snacking and drinking in seating areas only.

If you test positive for COVID-19, stay home for at least 5 days and isolate from others in your home to avoid spreading COVID-19 to others. If you are not feeling well, we ask that you call out for your volunteer, stay at home, and come back when you feel better to minimize the spread and to help keep others at the theater healthy and keep our operations going.
