50th Anniversary: Phantom of the Paradise w/ Live Shadowcast

Join OFS for a special shadowcast 50th anniversary screening of the cult classic, Phantom of the Paradise. This bonkers and beloved musical tells the story of Winslow Leach, a singer-songwriter who is tricked by a legendary music producer into sacrificing his life’s work – and his soul. In revenge, the composer dons a menacing new persona and proceeds to terrorize the producer’s new concert hall (The Paradise), insisting his music be performed by adored singer, Phoenix. Our special screening is co-produced by Olympia’s own Amy Shephard, whose father Will Shephard played the role of “Rock Freak,” a featured extra in the film. Shephard and a cast of local favorites will perform the music of Phantom of the Paradise live onstage simultaneously as the film screens. An experience like no other, join us for this one night only event!
