This two-hour show boasts stand-up comedy, music, and an annual PowerPoint Presentation. Always full of laughs and holiday cheer, the Sam Christmas Show is for Thurston County to come together around one of its favorite people!</div><div><br></div><div>Sam Bio:</div><div>Sam Miller is a nationally touring comedian from Olympia, Washington. He is 6 foot 6, 360 pounds, has two kids, (one of them is on purpose) he's been married for 15 years, and has been clean and sober for 17 years. Sam likes to make jokes about what it's like to be a sober parent. He also likes to make jokes about what jails like in Yakima. His first album and special, Round Trip, was recorded and filmed under the tutelage of Grammy-winning producer Dan Schlissel, whose indie label, Stand Up! Records, Sam had recently signed a three-album deal with. Round Trip was released October 27th 2023 and immediately went to number one on the iTunes Comedy Charts. It even broke into the top 200 overall charts. Sam is a recurring guest and has been heard by an estimated 2.5 million listeners on the nationally syndicated "Bob & Tom Radio Show." He has written for Newsweek. He was the runner-up in the 2021 Seattle International Comedy Competition and won the Comedy on Trial Competition in 2017. He has headlined multiple major comedy clubs including Sidesplitters in Tampa, Helium in Portland, and The Laugh Factory and Zanies in Chicago. He's also performed with the Addicts Comedy Tour and at NA and AA conventions all over the country. For three consecutive years, he won awards in "The Best of Olympia" issue of the Weekly Volcano.</div><div>2016 Best Local Hero </div><div>2017 Best Local Celebrity </div><div>2018 Best Comic Relief</div><div><br></div><div>Travis Bio:</div><div>An award-winning humor columnist and lifelong Seattleite, comedian Travis Sherer is still figuring some things out. Like, why do we have to stretch before yoga? Travis’ comedy often cheekily covers family and the eccentricities, absurdities, and downright insanity of children. It’s also clean-ish, which means he sometimes gets mistaken for a Mormon — particularly because he also doesn’t drink, doesn’t smoke, and met his wife when he was one year old. And it probably doesn’t help that he’s performed in more churches than he cares to admit. He's performed in clubs, festivals, wineries, breweries and backyards across the county...and even a cornfield...where he was paid in corn. He was named "Best of Fest" at the Burbank Comedy Festival and just performed in Madison Comedy Week. He's headlined at Planet Hollywood in Las Vegas and performs regularly in LA and New York. In 2022, Travis started Cozy Comedy. In just two years, he now produces 120 shows a year all across Washington state. He's worked with the top names in comedy, including Maria Bamford, Marc Maron, Kyle Kinane, Brad Upton, Kevin Nealon and Christopher Titus. Impressed? Well...he even lost at poker to Ray Romano once.</div><div><br></div><div>Emma Bio:</div><div>A Seattle-based comedian, storyteller, and proud owner of an “unspecified mood disorder,” Emma Schmuckler charms audiences with a whole lotta chutzpah and even more heart. Along with being named an Indisputable Champion of Comedy by The Stranger, Emma’s performed at Bumbershoot, Treefort Music Festival, Seattle International Comedy Competition, Upper Left Comedy Festival, and Savage Henry Comedy Festival. She’s also the producer of One Man Show, a comedy show featuring women and nonbinary comedians… and also one man. You can catch Emma yapping on stages across the Pacific Northwest, and also on the internet at @emmaschmucks</div></div><div><br></div><div>Tickets are on sale now through our website or beginning sixty-minutes before showtime.</div><div><br></div><div><div>This show has ADA area seating or specifically held seats available.
