Genre-bending in its approach, Patrick's audio documentary uses archival research to present a euphonious and cake-rich exploration of stardom in the studio era.&nbsp;</div><div><br></div><div>This audio portrait was made possible by the New York Public Library for the Performing Arts.</div><div><br></div><div>There will be no visual accompaniments during the listening party.
