Slipping into a coma following a freakish accident, cartoonist Stu Miley (Brendan Fraser) finds himself in an incredible fantasy world known as Down Town. To return to reality, Stu has to outwit a series of extraordinary circumstances.

“Monkeybone is a deliciously raucous fever dream — the perfect blend of peak Brendan Fraser comedy with top tier stop motion animation, a feast for the eyes with its practical sets and wicked creature costuming. When I first watched the film it must have been one of many random VHS movies my mom picked up from the library and thought was kid-appropriate — it awakened something in me! From twisted nightmares to hot cat girl, it’s a formative film for me to say the least. For it to be such a little known and under appreciated Henry Selick film is a travesty, especially when it has all the funky ingredients to be a cult classic. Take a chance on Monkeybone and experience this one-of-a-kind dark comedy!” – Ellison Shieh

Patrons, performers, staff, and volunteers are no longer required to wear masks or show proof of vaccination. The threat of covid, seasonal flu, and respiratory viruses are still out there. OFS will continue to provide masks (while supplies last – we have tons), surface and hand sanitizer, and regular air filtration system maintenance. We encourage mask-wearing at concerts and indoor gatherings and keep snacking and drinking in seating areas only.

If you test positive for COVID-19, stay home for at least 5 days and isolate from others in your home to avoid spreading COVID-19 to others. If you are not feeling well, we ask that you call out for your volunteer, stay at home, and come back when you feel better to minimize the spread and to help keep others at the theater healthy and keep our operations going.
