Cozy Comedy is bringing back the hilarious Kyle Kinane to the Capitol Theater. Kyle is a comedian from Addison, Illinois. According to Wikipedia, he is a notable person from that town. Other notable residents of Addison have been the boxer Leon Spinks and a woman who wrote poetry about Beanie Babies.

Raised in such a cultural fondue pot as this, it was natural for Kyle to find his way from warehouse work into show business. As a comedian, he has been seen on Conan, The Tonight Show, Netflix’s “The Standups,” and three of his own hour-length specials on Comedy Central. As an actor, he’s been in the Judd Apatow series “Love” and truTV’s “Those Who Can’t.” He was also on “Drunk History,” where he unfortunately wasn’t acting.

As a voice over actor, he was the former voice of Comedy Central for 8 years and currently plays Bullet on the Netflix series “Paradise PD.” He is also cohost of the Boogie Monster podcast along with Dave Stone, and the streaming show “Hey Girl” with Matt Braunger. As a musician, he has done nothing, as he is not a musician.

Kyle’s most recent standup work, “Shocks and Struts,” was recorded at Wiseguys Comedy Club in Salt Lake City, Utah and was released on 800 LB Gorilla Records in 2023.

About Sam Miller:

Sam is from Olympia, Washington. He is 6 foot 6, 360 pounds, and has 2 kids (one of them is on purpose). Sam’s been married for 11 years and has also been clean and sober for 14 years. Sam is the rare comedian who can joke about what it’s like to be a sober parent and what jail is like in Yakima. His unique story and authentic style has taken him to comedy clubs, theaters and dive bars across the county.

Sam’s career is on the rise! His first album and special, Round Trip, was recently recorded and filmed under the tutelage of Grammy-winning producer Dan Schlissel, whose indie label Stand Up! Records Sam had recently signed a three-album deal with. Sam has been a guest on “The Bob and Tom Show” heard by 2.5 million listeners everyday. He has been featured on KING 5, Q-13 Fox, the Seattle Times and the Olympian.

Sam was the runner-up in the 2021 Seattle International Comedy Competition and won the Comedy on Trial Competition in 2017. He’s also performed with the Addicts Comedy Tour and at NA and AA conventions all over the northwest. For 3 consecutive years he won awards in “The Best of Olympia” issue of the Weekly Volcano: 2016 Best Local Hero, 2017 Best Local Celebrity, and 2018 Best Comic Relief.

About Monica Nevi:

Monica Nevi is a native of the Seattle area, having grown up about 20 minutes south in the glory that is Renton, Wa. The product of a wonderfully humorous family and diverse life experience, she went on to earn a degree from Seattle University and lived in the city for 3 more years after going to school. A collegiate basketball player, after injuries ended her career she decided to move forward with the next most accepted career for a young woman and pursue her strong interest in stand-up comedy. After starting and performing for the duration of her time in college and beyond Monica continues to perform all over the country with great comedians, in great festivals, in great competitions, television appearances and continues to love it.

Her debut special “Big Stepdad Energy” was filmed in Philadelphia with Helium Comedy Studios and released in October 2022. It was voted top 50 specials of the year by We Own The Laughs magazine.

Tickets are now available online and can also be purchased at the box office beginning an hour before the show. A nominal service fee is applied for all ticket sales.
