BROS

October 28 – November 5, 2022
BROS

$11 General Admission & $8 OFS members
From the ferocious comic mind of Billy Eichner (Billy on the Street, Difficult People) and filmmakers Nicholas Stoller (the Neighbors films, Forgetting Sarah Marshall) and Judd Apatow (The Big Sick), comes Bros, a smart, swoony and heartfelt comedy about how hard it is to find another tolerable human being to go through life with.
Dir: Nicholas Stoller / 2022 / US / 115 min

“Eichner spins a lot of plates here, crafting a hilarious and heartfelt film that also acknowledges the challenging and often hidden history of queer people in American society.” – Alonso Duralde, TheWrap

“It’s big and clever in a way that so few films of this scale are these days, a pleasure to be shepherded through the easy motions of a romantic comedy by people who know what they’re doing for once” – Benjamin Lee, Guardian

“When we talk about wanting to be seen, a lot of us really mean that what we want is a gay version of our ’90s rom-coms when the genre was at its best. Bros fits the bill.” – Ryan Lattanzio, indieWire

SCREENING: FRI 10/28 7PM; SAT 10/29 4PM; SUN 10/30 4PM; THU 11/3 4PM; FRI 11/4 4PM; SAT 11/5 7PM

CURRENT COVID PROTOCOLS

Our top priority continues to be the safety of our audiences, artists, volunteers, staff, and the community. Beginning July 1, 2022, OFS will no longer require proof of vaccination. OFS strongly encourages and recommends when attending a performance at the Capitol Theater that all audience members wear a mask over their nose and mouth except when eating or drinking. Due to the continuing COVID-19 threat, it is critical to continue protecting and supporting those individuals who are immunocompromised or medically vulnerable, or who remain concerned for their own health or the health of their family or community. OFS encourages people to be kind and compassionate to individuals, students and businesses that choose to continue wearing face masks.

OFS management continually assesses the changing guidelines, artist contracts, and local government updates. We reserve the right to require health and safety protocols for all performances.  We will proactively communicate any change in health protocols with advance notice.

If you feel sick, have any of the following symptoms, or have tested positive for COVID-19, we request that you do not attend any performances:

Cough
Sore throat
Shortness of breath
Trouble breathing
Fever or chills
Loss of smell or taste

For more information, please see our operations announcement.
