34th Annual Olympia Film Festival – Celebrating Women in film!
The festival is well known and respected throughout the film world and is hosted around the Olympia, Washington downtown area, mainly inside the Capitol Theater, a 1924 concert and movie palace owned and operated by the Olympia Film Society. This organization supports a small staff and board of directors along with over 125 dedicated volunteers who select films, organize events, and run the Capitol Theater.

Terms & Rules:
By celebrating the creativity and longstanding contributions of women filmmakers, the 34th Annual Olympia Film Festival is excited to speak on the importance of equality and representation in film and media. In doing so, we are excited to exclusively accept submissions from female (cis, transgender, or female-identifying) filmmakers only. In a climate where 23 major film festivals programmed three times more male media than women, we are proud to highlight the talents of female directors.
