Captain Little and OFS proudly presents THE IRON GIANT! This was director Brad Bird’s (The Incredibles, Ratatouille, Mission Impossible 3) first movie! Charming, gorgeous to look at, funny and incredibly moving, the Iron Giant was a flop upon its original release, but is now widely recognized as a modern classic. Based on the 1968 story ‘Iron Man’ by the British poet laureate Ted Hughes, this animated feature tells the story of Hogarth, a lonely boy who discovers and befriends an iron giant that fell from space. With the help of a beatnik named Dean, he must stop the U.S. military and a federal agent from finding and destroying the Giant. The Iron Giant takes place in October 1957 in the state of Maine during the height of the Cold War. Voices include: Harry Connick Jr., Jennifer Aniston, Vin Diesel, and Cloris Leachman.
