Over the course of eight weeks this fall,  local youth learned how to create collaborative songs. At the conclusion of the program, participants recorded their finished pieces at a professional studio and now you get to hear and see them perform their finished pieces live in concert at the Capitol Theater. 

The Bridge Music Project is a Thurston County-based 501(c)3 Nonprofit Organization which teaches at-risk youth how music and songwriting can be used as tools to deal with life’s challenges. Through their song-writing workshops, they promote the values of teamwork, accountability, leadership, collaboration, empathy, and self-understanding.

300+ youth have participated in The Bridge Music Project, having collaboratively written, recorded and performed over 37 songs.
