Shortly after, Fox News became a constant presence on her parents’ television—and her dad’s outlook became bitter and angry. When Jen mentioned his behavior to others, she realized she was not alone. The cult of Fox News, and inflammatory right-wing media, spread its poisonous tentacles throughout the country, corrupting seniors who were vulnerable to its negative message. This smart and entertaining documentary explores this phenomena, breaking down the media machine to expose exactly how it works, and why.
