The Barefoot Bandit documentary recounts the events surrounding Pacific Northwest legend Colton Harris-Moore. The child burglar turned airplane thief evaded the FBI for years. He was charged with the thefts of a small aircraft, several boats and cars and in the burglaries of at least 100 private residences in various locations throughout the US and Canada. He fled to the Bahamas in a stolen airplane, where he was subsequently captured. Harris-Moore became known as the “Barefoot Bandit” because he was often seen on security cameras without shoes. This fascinating documentary includes unprecedented access to the FBI, lawyers, the Barefoot Bandit’s mother, neighbors, victims, and the man that captured him.
