OFS produces a completely unique series of events, from our regular series of fantastic films to exclusive screenings of independent films ignored by the theater chains, Q&A sessions with great filmmakers, diverse live music and performance art, and benefit programs for other nonprofits in our community. THRIFTWAY COMMUNITY REBATE PROGRAM
Designate 1% of your purchases to the Olympia Film Society each time you shop at Ralph’s or Bayview Thriftway in Olympia! It’s easy to do. Just sign-up for a ThrifteCard here. Then, call the ThrifteCard helpline at 360-596-0110 and provide the following information (if you already have a ThriftEcard you can all the helpline and add OFS as your community rebate group) :

How does my organization receive the donations?Each quarter, the AmazonSmile Foundation makes donations to eligible charitable organizations by electronic funds transfer.
How does AmazonSmile work? When first visiting AmazonSmile, customers are prompted to select a charitable organization from almost one million eligible organizations. In order to browse or shop at AmazonSmile, customers must first select a charitable organization. For eligible purchases at AmazonSmile, the AmazonSmile Foundation will donate 0.5% of the purchase price to the customer’s selected charitable organization.
What is the AmazonSmile Foundation?
The AmazonSmile Foundation is a 501(c)(3) private foundation created by Amazon to administer the AmazonSmile program. All donation amounts generated by the AmazonSmile program are remitted to the AmazonSmile Foundation. In turn, the AmazonSmile Foundation donates those amounts to the charitable organizations selected by our customers. Amazon pays all expenses of the AmazonSmile Foundation; they are not deducted from the donation amounts generated by purchases on AmazonSmile.
FRED MEYER COMMUNITY REWARDS
Here’s how it works:
Customers log in to your online account and link their Rewards Card to the organization of their choice. Customers will continue to receive Rewards Points, Rebates and Fuel Points.
At the end of each quarter, Fred Meyer will make a donation to participating nonprofits based on the accumulated spending of the Rewards customers linked to each nonprofit.
Fred Meyer will donate $650,000 each quarter via Community Rewards!
