In Polyester, John Waters muse Divine plays Francine Fishpaw, a suburban housewife struggling to maintain her composure while her life falls apart. Taking inspiration from 1950s “women’s pictures,” Polyester is a masterpiece of bad taste and furious camp, Those offended by decapitations, foot fetishism, punk rocker Stiv Bators and/or recreational glue sniffing may want to stay home! Francine’s acute sense of smell leaps out and grabs your nostrils with the help of the Odorama card, a scratch and sniff card (created by John Waters) that will be distributed to all ticket holders at this special one-time screening. As an added bonus, we’ll be raffling off fun prizes AND a signed picture of the Pope of Trash himself, John Waters.
