Enjoy this free screening of the German documentary Olympia: Festival of Beauty, directed and produced by filmmaker Leni Riefenstahl, about the 1936 Olympics in Berlin. UW Tacoma’s Claudia Gorbman, emeritus professor of film studies at UW Tacoma, having founded film studies there in 1990, will introduce the film and provide expert commentary. Gorbman will also be available after the film for a short Q&A. This event is part of Timberland Reads Together, an annual Timberland Regional Library district-wide program.
