One day a year we offer this opportunity to wallow in the weirdness and brilliance of modern comics and graphic novels. We are presenting Peter Kuper, the co-founder of the original lefty comics magazine World War 3 Illustrated and creator of many beautiful political comics. Our second guest is Emil Ferris who, in her mid-50s, has just created her first graphic novel, My Favorite Thing is Monsters. It is a book of beautiful depravity as well as lots of monsters. Our final guest this year, Simon Hanselmann, draws hilarious books about a witch, a cat, an owl, depression, and prodigious drug use. The stage show will also feature the Weirdest Comics Slideshow! Stand-Up Comedy! Guerrilla Ontology!
