In the documentary, Lo and Behold: Reveries of a Connected World, filmmaker Werner Herzog visits the world of technology and the internet. Chronicling our highly connected present environment we are swept into a journey exploring the internet’s origins and the impact it has had on a society that consumes endless streams of information no matter what the cost. Veering from the undeniably enthralling to the alarmingly bleak, Herzog focuses his highly unique viewpoint on a destined future where everything ‘virtual’ is wholly embraced and flesh and blood interactions are considered the antiquated past.
