IRRATIONAL MAN

In Woody Allen’s latest comedic drama, Joaquin Phoenix plays a world-weary college professor caught up in a murder plot. Abe Lucas is intelligent, well read, and disenchanted with life. His super-cool reputation precedes him to a new job on a northeastern campus, where he is revered by students and associates alike, yet Abe often floats through existence drunk and unresponsive. His allure attracts the attention of two women -a coworker (Parker Posey) and a student (Emma Stone), whose attempts to help him find meaning in his life leave them all questioning their morals.
