Mike Watt has truly created one of the most important bodies of work in the American underground with his influential brand of music and uncompromising DIY vision. As co-founder of the legendary Minutemen, fIREHOSE front man and bassist extraordinaire for Iggy & the Stooges, Mike Watt is punk rock personified. Oh, and he’s probably the nicest man alive too. 
His latest project is a rambunctious blend of punk-prog and explosive avant garde jazz. il sogno del marinaio features Stefano Pilia and Andrea Belfi – two Italian kindred spirits who share Watt’s irreverent sensibilities and passion for making noise.

Also on the bill: Japanese instrumental quartet LITE combine the precision and musicianship of prog rock with the emotionally charged cinematic compositions of art rock, in a heavier, more modern package. Formed in Tokyo in 2003, LITE are cited as an influence by a new wave of young instrumental bands around the world. Extensive touring since their formation has won them fans in Europe, the US and beyond thanks to their intense, incendiary live performances.
