Film Programmer - Helen Thornton Helen is a 30-year resident of Olympia. She has produced 8 years of film programming for NW International Lesbian Gay Film Festival (1987-1994) and has been the Film Programmer at OFS since 2003. She holds a B.S. from California State University at Chico in Health Science and Community Service, and enjoys modern dance, tap and loves to sing and play guitar. Her partner of 30 years, Marge Brown, passed away in 2006. They are the proud parents of their 23-year-old son, Asa Brown.

Board Coordinator - Joshua Parish Joshua has worked with the Olympia Film Society since 2006, and has lived in Olympia intermittently since first moving here in 1999. Away from the office, he is sometimes a freelance writer. He holds a B.A. in English from The Evergreen State College and is working toward his M.F.A. in Writing from the University of Washington in Seattle.
